The Monogatari Series is expanding with Two New Anime adaptations “Off Season” and “Monster Season” that are scheduled for 2024.
The New Adaptations are being produced by Studio Shaft.
Off Season
“Off Season” delves into a collection of side stories, shining a spotlight on various characters within the Monogatari series. This season is structured into four arcs:
- Orokamonogatari
- Wazamonogatari
- Nademonogatari
- Musubimonogatari
Monster Season
“Monster Season” transitions the focus to Koyomi Araragi’s life as a university student, marking a new chapter in his journey. This season is composed of six arcs:
- Shinobumonogatari
- Yoimonogatari
- Amarimonogatari
- Ougimonogatari
- Shinomonogatari (encompassing two novels)
Staff
The staff lineup for the project includes Nisioisin as the original story creator, VOFAN handling character planning, Akiyuki Shinbo as the general director, Midori Yoshizawa as the director, Tomiyako Azuma and Akiyuki Shinbo for series composition, Akio Watanabe as the character designer and chief animation director and Shaft as the animation production studio.
