Satoru Gojo’s Voice Actor in Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuichi Nakamura, is at the center of controversy as a Japanese media outlet publishes a scoop regarding some Sexually Explicit Jokes. However, the attempt to expose Nakamura by tabloid Weekly Bunshun appears to have backfired them.
The Incident
Numerous individuals online are accusing Weekly Bunshun of trying to create an exposé based on comments Nakamura made during a gaming live-stream. The actor was engaged in a live broadcast project named Street Graffiti Role Play, centered around GTA 5, where participants assume roles that differ from their usual personalities.
As reported by Bunshun, Nakamura, a popular voice actor, was depicted as a male player making sexual comments towards a female player with a distinctive voice, using obscene language that garnered the viewers attention.
Examples of Nakamura’s comments include, “I’ll look inside your skirt” and “Don’t cum before me.” The tabloid’s post has gained significant traction, accumulating 53.9 million views and over 40,000 Reposts, predominantly expressing negative sentiments.
Colleague’s Frustration
Mafia Kajita, a colleague of Nakamura, who claims to have shared numerous nights with Nakamura, posted a second response to the article, criticizing it as foolish and expressing irritation.
Divide in Opinions
Another response suggested a divide in opinions, indicating that fans are disgusted (❌) while industry insiders perceive it as business as usual (⭕️). There’s also a message directed at potential beginners in the voice acting world, urging them to relax.
